In addition to Smart Stuff and The Daily Buzz, Steve can also been seen demonstrating problem-solving gadgets on other national talk shows including Fox & Friends and Lifetime’s Our Home. Steve has also been a guest on The Caroline Rhea Show and Great Day. For the past few years Steve has been showcasing the latest in home design, construction and trends as a reporter/producer on HGTV’s Dream Builders and The Discovery Channel’s Your New House. For five years Steve reported on the coolest new home improvement products for HGTV's On Location: International Builders' Show.

Steve writes for several magazines and websites. His "Innovation Insider" insights appear in Smart Homeowner magazine. Steve also writes for Daily Examiner, Log Home Living, Backyard Living, Ocean Drive and Manhattan Style.

When not on the consumer beat, Steve reports/produces for various television entities including the Food Network's Roker On The Road, Hallmark Channel's New Morning, National Geographic Today, PBS’s Decor, Fox’s America’s Most Wanted, WPBT-TV’s New Florida, The Sci-Fi Channel’s Inside Space, The Wall Street Journal Report and several other syndicated ventures.

Steve has been honored with 12-Emmy Awards for his television news series work and for his special broadcasts, including the educational children’s program entitled Doc Steve’s Amazing Science Seekers. He has received the highest broadcast national award from the American Heart Association and he has received special recognition from the Florida Medical Association for his coverage of the HIV Haitians detained at Cuba’s Guantanamo Bay Naval Base. Steve also took first place in the Sunshine State Awards for feature reporting.
